Victorious Start For United

The Red Devil's had a victorious start as they edge passed West Brom. It all started when Wayne Rooney's fine placement found the the net at 13' but Nani missed some great chances. After wards Rooney's beautiful finish was cancelled off with Shane Long's debut goal when Manchester United's new summer signing David De Gea dived late, which helped Shane Long's shot in finding the net and West Brom in equalizing.

It was more agni for United in the second half when their captain Namaja Vidic and Rio Ferdenand were injured. The pressure built upon both sides, but The Red Devils were able to brake the deadlock on 81' when Ashley Young dribbled through West Brom's defense and was trying to pass the ball into the center of the 6 yard box but the ball was deflected off  Steven Ried into the goal. United dominated the rest of the 9 minutes which were left in full time whistle on the other hand West Brom were in intense pressure.

Manchester United got all three points  they needed and are at 2nd in the Premier League standings on the basses of goal difference. The defending champions are with 3 points and are having +1 goal difference and the toppers Bolton Wanderers are  having 3 points and are having +3 goal difference.
